How do I set up and manage redeemables campaigns?

Redeemables campaigns let you issue vouchers and rewards to your guests. You control what the reward is, who can claim it, and how many can be redeemed — all from Merchant Admin.

Create a campaign

  1. Log in to Merchant Admin.

  2. Go to Engage > Redeemables.

  3. Click + Create Campaign.

If this is your first time, check out the introduction page in Merchant Admin — it covers how guests use redeemables and includes promotion ideas.

Step 1: Campaign details

These details shape how your redeemable appears to guests.

  1. Enter a Campaign Name — this is for internal use only.

  2. Enter a Redeemable Title — this is what guests see, so make it clear and appealing.

  3. Upload a Cover Image.

  4. Write a Description that explains what the guest gets.

  5. Add your Terms & Conditions — include any restrictions or conditions for use.

  6. Click Next: Payment Settings.

Step 2: Payment settings (optional)

Use this if guests need to pay to claim the redeemable — for example, a $50 cash voucher sold at $45, or a prepaid item like a pizza.

  1. Toggle on Payment required.

  2. Set the Payment Amount guests must pay to claim the redeemable.

  3. Optionally, set a Usual Price to show a strikethrough price to guests.

  4. Click Next: Redemption Details.

Payment amounts cannot be changed once a campaign is live. Double-check before setting it active.

Step 3: Redemption details

Redemption PINs are how your staff verify and process a guest’s redeemable in-store.

  1. Set a 4-digit Master PIN — this works across all your stores.

  2. Optionally, set individual Store Redemption PINs for each location.

  3. Click Next: Campaign Limits.

Step 4: Campaign limits

Limits give you control over how many redeemables are distributed and used.

  1. Redeemables issued — the total number guests can claim.

  2. Redeemables redeemed — the total number that can be used across all stores.

  3. Expiry date — when unredeemed redeemables will no longer be valid.

  4. Claims per customer — choose between once only or unlimited.

  5. Click Next: Summary.

Campaign limits cannot be edited once a campaign is live. They can only be changed while the campaign is in Draft status.

Step 5: Review and launch

  1. Review all campaign details and PIN settings. These can be edited later.

  2. Check your Terms & Conditions. These can also be edited later.

  3. Verify your campaign limits — these are locked once the campaign goes live.

  4. Choose Save as Draft to come back later, or Save and Set Live to launch now.

Consider adding a discount or voucher line item in your POS system. When a guest redeems a redeemable, you can apply this line item to their bill.

View and manage campaigns

Any changes you make apply only to newly issued redeemables. Existing redeemables already claimed by guests are not affected.

To edit:

  1. Go to Engage > Redeemables.

  2. Click the ⋮ menu under Quick Actions for the campaign you want to edit.

  3. Select Edit and click Proceed.

  1. Make your changes, then go to the Summary page and click Save Edits and Set Live.

Pause and resume a campaign

Pausing a campaign stops guests from claiming or redeeming redeemables. Any redeemables already issued will show as “Cannot be redeemed at this time” for guests.

To pause:

  1. Go to Engage > Redeemables.

  2. Click ⋮ next to the campaign and select Pause.

  3. Click Confirm Pause.

To resume:

  1. Go to Engage > Redeemables.

  2. Click ⋮ next to the campaign and select Resume.

  3. Click Confirm Resume.

Delete a campaign

You can only delete a campaign if no guests have claimed or redeemed any redeemables from it. If guests have already engaged with the campaign, pause it instead.

To delete:

  1. Go to Engage > Redeemables.

  2. Click ⋮ next to the campaign and select Delete.

  3. Confirm the deletion.
